Percent Proportions Activity Mini Mystery Print and Digital
This low-prep activity, with digital & printable versions is an engaging way for students to practice working with percent of change, and finding percents by setting up proportions! Students become suspects after a movie theater patron is murdered. The murderer left a cluesheet and students must work together, solving the proportions cluesheet to figure out who the murderer is!
Students are given character cards when they enter the room and assume the role of an average movie theater patron. Their movie is interrupted when the power goes out and a scream is heard from the back of the theater. They must work through the clue/worksheet to clear their own name and figure out who among them is the murderer!

My students loved this! It is the second one I have done and we preface it with character development activities and decorate the classroom, making a whole day of it! They are very motivated to understand the concepts in order to figure out the mystery. So fun! - Michelle F.
