This low-prep parallel and perpendicular lines activity is an engaging way for students to practice working with writing equations for parallel and perpendicular lines from graphs, equations, points, and word problems!

Students become suspects after a fellow traveler is murdered on the airplane. There are only a few clues about the murderer, and the students must write equations for parallel and perpendicular lines to figure out who it is!

Students are given character cards when they enter the room and assume the role of a traveling student. Their fun-filled day comes to an end when someone is found dead. They must work through the clue/worksheet to clear their own name and figure out who among them is the murderer!
