On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, you'll see a "trick or treat" option on the lesson plans below. Here's how it works...
You'll provide a set of notes or worksheets for your students to complete and tell students they'll earn a Trick or a Treat based on their behavior and focus during the lesson.
You can print these trick or treat cards and set them on individual student desks or evaluate the class as a whole and give them the Trick (halloween-themed math problems) or Treat (engaging halloween math game) linked for the day!

Close: Trick or Treat time. Students who earn a Treat get to play this Quizizz game. Students who earn a trick must answer these word problems (I made three versions for grades 5 - High school).

Close: Trick or Treat time. Students who earn a Treat get to play this GimKit game. Students who earn a trick must write 2 of their own halloween-themed math problems, based on what they learned today.

Activity: Whatever notes or practice you have on the agenda for the day. Set a timer for the notes/practice and tell students they'll earn a Trick or a Treat based on their behavior and focus during the lesson. You can print these trick or treat cards and set them on individual student desks or evaluate the class as a whole and give them the Trick or Treat below!
Close: Trick or Treat time. Students who earn a Treat get to play this Jeopardy game (not math related). Students who earn a trick may play, but they will have a -200 point deduction from their total.
